Visa Information and Support
Entry Requirements for Kenya
Most international visitors are required to obtain authorization before traveling to Kenya. Kenya has replaced traditional visas with the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system for most foreign nationals.
All delegates are encouraged to verify the latest entry requirements well in advance of their travel.
Check Whether You Require an eTA

This is the only official website for Kenya's eTA application.
IMPORTANT!
Apply for Your eTA
Applicants should complete the online application before departure.
You will generally need:
- A passport valid for at least six (6) months from your date of entry
- A recent passport-size photograph
- Flight itinerary or return/onward ticket
- Hotel or accommodation details
- Invitation letter (if applicable)
- Payment of the applicable eTA processing fee
Processing times may vary. Delegates are strongly encouraged to apply at least 2–4 weeks before travel.
Invitation Letter
Delegates who have completed their Congress registration and payment may request an official invitation letter to support their eTA application.

Yellow Fever Vaccination
Travelers arriving from, or transiting through, countries with a risk of Yellow Fever transmission may be required to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate upon arrival.

Delegates should ensure they carry:
- Passport
- Approved eTA
- Return or onward ticket
- Hotel reservation
- Congress registration confirmation
- Invitation letter (if applicable)
Immigration officials may request supporting documents upon arrival.
